Aphorisms

Circa 2007

This video's old. Well I think it has reached half a decade. Yes!
When I were on my second year of high school, we were asked by my Computer class teacher to make a video- aphorisms. And where did I get the so called aphorisms/quotes- inspirational messages? Sometime on my first year high school when I started reading novels, books, short stories. And most of the aphorisms on this video I think are from Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom's. God, the story inspired me.

So there, you might find something on the video for a change. It's just a short clip.

Bloggers United 3.0

Hehe! Can you see? Can you see? Oh of course! Noo! What I meant is the picture below? Are you familiar with the community event? Yay! I'm joining the bandwagon of promoting this events.

Third time’s the charm for the most anticipated fashion bloggers event in the country!
Bloggers United is staging their third bloggers bazaar this June 2 at the Grandview Events Place to once again gather Manila’s top fashion bloggers in one single venue outside of the World Wide Web. After holding two successful events last year, Bloggers United has easily become one of the most anticipated affairs for both fashion bloggers and readers in the metro.  More than just a bazaar, Bloggers United also partners with charitable groups to use and channel their influence in a positive manner.
Through the overwhelming power of social media and blogs in today’s generation, the previous Bloggers United events have successfully joined forces with top fashion bloggers like Laureen Uy, Camille Co, Kryz Uy and many more to inspire their followers and to raise funds for various beneficiaries,  namely KIDS Foundation and GMA Kapuso Foundation. This time around, the event will benefit Operation Smile Philippines.
The event gets better and better every time! To make Bloggers United 3 even more momentous, top Indonesian fashion blogger Anastacia Siantar of The Brown Platform will also be selling alongside Cebu fashion bloggers and our very own top celebrities Divine Lee & Sarah Meier.
So, if you love blog-reading and blog-hopping, Bloggers United is sure to be the perfect end-of-summer bazaar for you. Not only will you be able to bump elbows with your favorite bloggers at the event, but you will also be able to snag some of their own stylish statement pieces as they open their closets to sell to the public. Stay-up-to-date with the biggest gathering of bloggers by following us on Twitter (twitter.com/bloggers_united) and Facebook (facebook.com/bloggersunitedph), and bookmarking our official webpage (bloggersunited.org)

Do you believe in magic?

I could not agree more to the person who commented on one of the "Do you believe in Magic" by The Lovin Spoonful:
American Pie brought me here!
Indeed! A thumbs up for that person. I originally heard this song on American Pie I where Oz tried to join glee club for the sake of their deal that they should get laid before high school ends. I fell in love with this song instantly. Then, I heard it again, on Parent Trap!! I was really in glee, I was laughing and giddy. This is such a kilig song for me. :"

If you don't know this song, play it right now!

Maybe

Hey, I've been interning for a week now on a prestige publishing house. Hm. I'm a Human Resource Intern, fyi. They are those who screen your applications if you are qualified or not on your choices of job applying for. Yes, I've been doing it for quite some time now. After those endless roaming of the hallways and going back and forth to the departments that I'm ashamed of myself because I kept coming back and I can't still memorize their names with their faces. Anyways, at least now, I know a few na.

So yeah, when I was asked to sort the resumes by the job they're applying for and have to sort them again with their looks and contents from their resume. It's kinda hard. Parang I should have no heart, it sounds so wrong, so let me put it this way, "It must top with the qualifications of the company, and as how they look and experiences could imbibe the integrity the company has. It also goes with a person's competency." So there.

Not just that, because I receive application form directly from the receptionist from the reception area, there's always a chance that I look on their forms and resumes. I'm a very intuitive person, sometimes it so strong, moderate and sometimes not. But I wish luck on every I-think-deserving-applicant who I usher from the reception to their interview or test area.

What really struck on me? I haven't shared it yet, so here it goes. Why a person doesn't finish his/her education? Because of money? Why does it have to be expensive and not affordable for some? A person applying for driver who is on his early 40s. I mean, come on. I would have broken in tears instantly but I can't. I feel pity, yes. But I should not, because it is still a clean job but not those highly- ranked and being looked forward to as a job. He finished only one year of a college, that question above! Why? I don't know. I guess it hurts because he looks fragile to me, though I saw him smoked a cigarette which adds to his disease then, early 40's- some companies don't accept an age bracket beyond this, only few does. See! Age bracket. And another man applying as messenger. It hurts. What happened on their education as to why they have to apply for these kind of jobs?

Are my questions wrong or what? Does it makes sense? I mean, anyone can do those tasks- drive, deliver by themselves, ask a friend to help you to do those. I don't get it. Maybe, yes, I still have a young mind but that doesn't mean I'm always carefree and take this people for gratitude.

Maybe just maybe, I wanted a better country with every education opportunity to uphold its citizens.

Mini-library in heels

This is me. Boring myself. (I secretly used the webcam) Ssh.

Okay. It's my second day as an intern and what I am doing? In the MEGA library  (yes, they have their own mini library), using the laptop of HR, the department I am with.

I am wearing heels now, so take a break. Oh, a while ago Arci (RC) Munoz of TV5, the character of Felina, was here. I didn't know she's an artist though. I was suprised because there were Chucky and creepy dolls and the editors were arranging it on one of the book cabinets. Definitely, not the one on my back but the one that's adjacent on my right. Alright. So much of that stuff. Going back to signature campaign. For two days, I've been roaming the whole floor of MEGA for that signatures.

Last night when I went to sleep and because I cannot sleep I pictured the one I'm familiar with - their names and faces.

P.S. Whether you  are my block mate or not whose reading this:
Hi! :) If you are interested, join me as an intern here in MEGA. Thank you!
or if you want to work in MEGA, check their website for career opportunities.

For the Academic Year 2012-2013

My acceptance letter from the FAST2010 BG as VC for Marketing.
Intern at One Mega Group Inc. Looking for someone to join me in this internship. :))

VP for Marketing. Second official letter from a USG unit. And 2nd Marketing after VC for Marketing for FAST2010. :) Thank you OVP - Externals

Obviously hauled that Marketing position for all the organizations, I've applied.
What do you think? Should I shift course? Oh-no-no. If you just know how much I'm smart in numbers but cannot really apply it. As in.
So much for now. Hope to give an update of my internship.
