The Wine, The Wine Pouch and The Wine Bag

This was my gift to my friend/blockmate on her debut last July 23, 2011. I am in hurry on finding a gift for her because she doesn't answer what kind of gift she would like to have. And when I asked my other blockmates, they told, 'liquor'.
Because that day too, I only bought the gift. I was late, we were late. Iella and me. I resorted to buying her liquor/wine for I have not seen anything decent to give from UM. There's no perfume rin. So there, Paul Mason, the wine pouch and the wine bag.

P.S.
The wine pouch which is also available at NBS is really good for Wine/Liquor bag/pouch than use gift wrap tissue/cellophane/japanese paper even crepe.

Marie

Keirsey Temperament Report

Before reading the result which I have got from the test, I click a link from one of my friend/sibling in DLSU, Miszy. And yey, I love it. So here, I'll bold where I agree the most.

Custom Keirsey Temperament Report for: Marie Castro

Your Keirsey Temperament Sorter Results indicates that your personality type is that of the

Idealists, as a temperament, are passionately concerned with personal growth and development. Idealists strive to discover who they are and how they can become their best possible self -- always this quest for self-knowledge and self-improvement drives their imagination. And they want to help others make the journey. Idealists are naturally drawn to working with people, and whether in education or counseling, in social services(which course I am taking is related) or personnel work, in journalism or the ministry, they are gifted at helping others find their way in life, often inspiring them to grow as individuals and to fulfill their potentials.
Idealists are sure that friendly cooperation is the best way for people to achieve their goals. Conflict and confrontation upset them because they seem to put up angry barriers between people.(I shut up or just observe the people around when they vent and speak to myself.) Idealists dream of creating harmonious, even caring personal relations, and they have a unique talent for helping people get along with each other and work together for the good of all. Such interpersonal harmony might be a romantic ideal, but then Idealists are incurable romantics who prefer to focus on what might be, rather than what is.( I really swore I am romantic than most boys I know) The real, practical world is only a starting place for Idealists; they believe that life is filled with possibilities waiting to be realized, rich with meanings calling out to be understood. This idea of a mystical or spiritual dimension to life, the "not visible" or the "not yet" that can only be known through intuition or by a leap of faith, is far more important to Idealists than the world of material things.
Highly ethical in their actions, Idealists hold themselves to a strict standard of personal integrity. They must be true to themselves and to others, and they can be quite hard on themselves when they are dishonest, or when they are false or insincere. More often, however, Idealists are the very soul of kindness. Particularly in their personal relationships, Idealists are without question filled with love and good will. They believe in giving of themselves to help others; they cherish a few warm, sensitive friendships; they strive for a special rapport with their children; and in marriage they wish to find a "soulmate," (which I wish would come later on) someone with whom they can bond emotionally and spiritually, sharing their deepest feelings and their complex inner worlds.
Idealists are relatively rare, making up no more than 15 to 20 percent of the population. But their ability to inspire people with their enthusiasm and their idealism has given them influence far beyond their numbers.
Idealists at Work
Idealists, as a temperament, are passionately concerned with personal growth and development. They are naturally drawn to working with people and are gifted with helping others find their way in life, often inspiring them to grow as individuals and to fulfill their potential both on, and off, the job.
Because you live in anticipation of an exciting future, in your ideal job you will be asked to stretch your imagination on a continual basis. Existing ideas, individuals and groups of people, products, services, and the relationships between these things can trigger flashes of insight about how "what is" might unfold into "what might be." You feel rewarded where you feel free to share your insights with people who encourage your creativity and who support the unpredictable process by which you narrow down the stream of ideas into innovations that are meaningful within the scheme of your personal values. You are likely to be comfortable taking on a leadership role, so long as it doesn’t place you in an arbitrary hierarchy.

Harry Potter's Magical World

DISCLAIMER:
Photos are from Tumblr.

Since Harry Potter was first published I have not read one book. I was not interested into books when I was a child though I have heard of it. There aren't any collections of sci-fi, novels, even fiction books in the house. The only available are school textbooks. I did not bother to ask to buy some fun reading books. Not until I have watched the 1st installment of the last film, ALONE. Oh geez, what is the story? For real. That was my first reaction, last year. It was November. Bothered, I try searching for good ol cheap price Harry Potter books and borrowing from some of friends, but they did not let me borrow their expensive of almost untouched-somehow touched collection of the book. That was December.
Late December to Earlier January, I said to myself, "Finish all the books before the 2nd installment of the last book will premiere." Here I am, not. I finished 6. I started borrowing right first day of 3rd term, in two weeks time I did finish. Because the 7th was always borrowed and on hold, I don't think I will be able to borrow it for the next weeks or months. Our library has one copy though.
This is my generation. Our generation. HARRY POTTER, HERMIONE GRANGER, RUPERT GRINT and the HOGWARTS world, has grown along with us. We were friends. Lately, I have become one of the Potterheads. I am proud. I am given time to read the book. It was introduced to me and it taught me lessons I could never imagine. JK Rowling, thank you for sharing with us your world. Your tragic story with the death of someone you loved has spread love all over the world. You're ever wonderful and the kids you created.

Behind the Truth

I am way behind my thoughts about the truth. I should have written it immediately when all the ideas sprang during and after the conference I have attended. A Metaphysics Conference by the Philosophy Department of DLSU. There is a lot of topics laid out for the conference. If I have woke up and left the house earlier then I would have attended the Time and Person conferencea, that, that is much interesting for my preference. But I have not. Though I came just in time on one of my favorite topic, the organizers have not allowed guests/students to enter the lecture area, so I waited for the next session and left the area first.
The moment has arrived, there is no more chair left for me, the only choice- stand up beside the walls or sit on the stairs. Nevertheless, I chose to stand up and sit during the Q&A portion. The topic, The Metaphysics of Truth and Knowability Problem. Hearing just it, straight-faced, poker-faced, how-I-wish-this-will-be-interested thought. It is just so fast, the conference. What would someone expect given only 20 minutes of presentation with the matters of truth, however, an adult's attention span only last 15-20 minutes that is quite acceptable for this kind of occasion.
Moving on, 1) What is Truth 2) How do we know the Truth. I will quote this from a friend, 'Yes, Truth with the capital T,' inspired by Plato. A mind boggling statement that definitely everyone questions everyday. Is it the truth she's saying? Are you telling the truth? How do you know it is true? When it could be just a gossip. But as we all know, a rumor, a gossip can be a truth. The metaphysics of Truth that is beyond the explanatory state of nature. An omniscient state of mental blackness, what to believe in. Hence, there are corresponding explanations of Truth. First and foremost, let's assume, NO, let TRUTH always be a proposition in that way it is easier to know the truth. The NDE or Nondoxastic Experience Argument where it is any experience that is not a belief, can justify but not guarantee the truth. I just made a vague statement, did not I? Or it is too deep for me to swim to the thought of NDE. Either way, there are some truths that is stagnant. Truths just like in criminal scenes/movies/series that will not speak without the evidence. Truths are hypotheses, theories and postulates that are waiting to  be accepted by the public. Second, it says that the Coherence Theory of Truth does not guarantee the knower. Does not guarantee the knower signs/staments of truthfulness. And third, the Truth needs to be verified.
And with this truth, I have posted some thoughts on my networking sites and here it is:

Radio Romance (1996)

While I was looking for a good channel/series/movie to watch and nowhere to because it's 6 30 and English movies were near ending and Filipino just started. When I reached CinemaOne, I can't figure what the movie was and so searched more. I was stuck to go back so I did. And discovered in the middle that the place where the two characters were walking was in La Salle. Yes, LA SALLE 1996. And it was so cute that I have been glued on the channel. I LOVE IT! SO MUCH, light romance!
